Hello! My name is Cindy. I have been on kidney dialysis for quite some time. I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease more commonly referred to as kidney failure in 2012. I have been on dialysis treatments since the diagnosis. My journey has been a long one. I became my mother's full time caregiver when my father passed away in 2003, which impeded on my ability to seek a transplant at that time. Throughout the years I was taking care of my mother and doing dialysis treatments three days a week. My mother passed away in 2020. I am now in a position to be evaluated for the kidney transplant list. There will be some out of pocket expenses. On a fixed income I am asking my friends and family for support.
