Hello everyone,

My name is Cody Reed. My sister and I came to an agreement to start this in an effort to support our mom during this gruesome cancer journey she is about to experience.

The past 2 months or so, our mom, Cindy, has been in and out of doctor visits. It all started with some stomach pain. During those visits, there were masses discovered in the abdominal region. With more testing and more visits, this week she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her liver. Her liver was found to have 12 tumors on it.

She goes in Friday to have a port placed to begin the chemo treatments. The way it was explained to us was that they are starting with 3 different chemotherapy drugs at once, starting Wednesday, August 6. During these treatments, Cindy is going to be sick, sore, and unable to work.

The whole purpose of this is an effort to raise money for our mom to help cover her bills, medical bills, and gas to get to and from appointments.

We understand times are tough for everyone nowadays, but anything helps at this point.
