Help Support Cindy Schmidt’s Recovery After Emergency Eye Surgery

Hi, my name is Allyson Spain, and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my dear cousin, Cindy Schmidt, who is going through an incredibly difficult time.

After being diagnosed as legally blind in her right eye last Monday, Cindy underwent emergency eye surgery to reattach her retina. It was a long, exhausting day, but we are so thankful she is finally home and resting.

Unfortunately, Cindy does not have health insurance, and the surgery came with a very high out-of-pocket cost. On top of that, her recovery will take several weeks—during which she will be unable to work and receive no income.

Cindy is one of the kindest, most hard-working people we know, and it’s heartbreaking to see her facing this hardship alone. We are asking for your prayers for a full and speedy recovery, and if you're able, any financial help you can offer would mean the world to her.
