- Hi, my name is Christina. I am 33 years old and I was diagnosed with stage three cervical cancer and stage four ovarian cancer about two years ago. Although I have had cancer for quite some time, I have done chemo weekly for over a year now, and within the last 6 months, things have really taken a turn. I decided to take a break from all things chemo and anything medically related, which I shouldn't have because i started feeling a small lump in my belly which has grown HUGE , but all th
- e appts and ppl staring and judging me just makes it that much worse so it gets to be A LOT. Especially when you are basically all you have; My whole family is deceased besides i have a 12-year-old daughter named Delilah, who is my whole world, and also a younger brother who is struggling mentally but I still look out for when I can. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to work the last couple of years. Although I’ve had some help, it has barely just scraped me by. This is the last thing I want to be doing, but if there’s anything I’ve learned from this, it's to stop being ashamed of needing help, and it's okay to not be okay.
I know everyone is struggling right now, so even a share will help. I need a little help towards bills, i am really behind due to not working and i only receive around 100 monthly from social services , so you can see how itd be hard to live off that?! Also id like to make sure things are put together and easy for my daughter when the time comes which may be sooner than i hoped. The holidays & her bday are 2 weeks apart- & are im DECEMBER im just so scared im not gonna be able to make it through. Please help yall. I NEED YALL!
