Hello,

On August 13, 2025, our lives would forever change! Our Sweetheart Christian, had an unexpected seizure, was hospitalized, and 2 days later an MRI revealed a spot on his brain! On August 15th, Christian was diagnosed with a Grade 2 brain tumor! Prior to this day, Christian was an 18-year-old very healthy graduate who spent his days shadowing his mentor at residential homes being built, and his evenings playing PlayStation with his best friends, while taking breaks to apply for his first job. He had no history of seizures, nor did he even have headaches! We always took pride in how he was a young “Health Fanatic”!He was very proud to be Tobacco and Drug free as a Legal Young Adult!! This Diagnosis was all so random. He was just looking forward to gaining employment in the customer service field! He wanted to get acclimated with engaging with the public, and just get the overall experience of "working" for at least 6 months before beginning an apprenticeship with a construction company in March 2026! Christian was an honor student his entire life! Always focused, very disciplined, responsible, and just ahead of his time! He started a savings account at the age of 14,and has always been eager to earn his own money!! He was also even quicker to stack it away (in his words!)

This diagnosis alone took a toll on his mental state. After being discharged, he was told he couldn't get his Drivers Permit nor work for the next 6 months at minimum.He was prescribed a seizure medicine which causes him to sleep a lot.He requires around-the-clock attention with no more than 2hrs at a time unsupervised.I then had to resign from work to commit to him while still providing for our family! Overall, this put a strain on us financially.As of now, surgery is in place for late November. We're trying to focus on his health,his mental state, and not the worries of bills,medical costs,transportation to and from weekly appointments,and our overall depleted savings.Lets build a Village of Kindness,Love,and Stability!
