Hello, my name is Chris. I'm a carrier for the United States Postal Service. I've been out of work for several months due to a medical condition called ulcerative colitis, also known as UC. I'm having this prolonged flare-up due to health insurance no longer covering the medication I was on and forcing me to take a generic or biosimilar. This medication did not work or control my symptoms. I've been waiting since April to be put on medication that can help control symptoms. During this time, I have had significant weight loss. I went from 140lbs to now 98lbs. Not being able to work, I've gotten behind on some bills. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
