In June, Chris was diagnosed with a rare cancer called synovial sarcoma. In July, he underwent surgery to remove a tumor from his lung. Thankfully his doctors were able to achieve clear margins, but because of the aggressive nature of this cancer, he now faces chemotherapy to help lower the recurrence.

His treatments are being done at MD Anderson in Houston, which means frequent travel back and forth from home. We are so thankful to our family and community who have surrounded us with support.

We know God has a plan in all of this and have seen Him at work even in the hardest of times.
