Hello friends and family of our coworker and friend Chris Tolve. As many of you may have heard, Chris has been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer at the age of 45. He will not require surgery at this time although he will be starting his 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation beginning next week.

He has been a longtime coworker of many in the hospitality industry. I worked with Chris at Cov Wayzata and now at Birches in Long Lake. Let's support him as he begins this journey of treatment for his cancer. There will be times where he will not have the energy and be well enough to serve at the restaurant, as we all know what it takes to sustain the positive energy that goes with the territory of a very busy establishment. We love Chris and his positive energy and want to help him sustain it by setting him up to help with medical bills and lost wages so he can concentrate on getting through this.
