CHICKs: Citizens Helping In Crisis Kittens

Hi there! I am here to share an unexpected happening yesterday, 8/26. Myself and 2 other people who work at the Danbury PD were given the gift of 4 tiny kittens found in a garage. Shelters are at capacity, and despite reaching out to any and all potential help, there was no one who could take such tiny babies. So us 3 CHICKs decided to split the care and responsibility of the babies. They will need vet visits, shots, and eventual spay/neuter. They need baby formula, food, and right now, round-the-clock care.

All three of us dedicating our time have full-time jobs, school, our own pets, and other responsibilities. We serve our community, and we are proud to do so.

This is what you do when situations like this happen—you come together and help. I am asking for help in any way you can to support these lucky babies. Of course, we are making it work out of our own funds, and anything we receive will go to these babies' care. Thank you for your consideration—these babies have a long road ahead. Though it is taking a village, we are fully aware we are no replacement for Mama. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and I will update with pics and info as we have it.
