Hey family and friends. I'm currently trying to help raise money to help Chelsea with this year's tuition and fees at the University of Idaho. For this semester, she has one more payment due in mid-November of about $1,500, which I'm trying to raise as soon as possible to avoid her having to take out a loan.

Chelsea has worked so hard to get to this spot where she can further her education and hopefully get a job doing something she loves, while also making a difference. She is currently an Ecology major and hopes to be able to get a job working on something that will help the environment.

As many of you know, the last couple of years have been tight financially for our family, and sometimes we just barely make ends meet. I've really never been in a position to put money away for children's colleges. Chelsea has had a job since she was 15 and has been saving most of the money she made since then. She was able to purchase her own car with cash and still had some left over and continued to save right up until she had to leave that job to head to university.

She had a good majority of the cost assisted with after applying for FAFSA and was able to pay most of the rest of the cost with her personal savings. She also has been trying to find a job nearby the university and was able to get a very small part-time position that will be good for a little income and experience towards her major but is still looking for an additional job with no luck so far.

I'm trying to help ease her burden and have been able to help her purchase some necessities and send a little money here and there when I have it, but it's definitely not enough.

Chelsea has been such and inspiration to me her whole life. She is intelligent, and kind. She is so grateful for all the opportunities she has. She is courageous, thoughtful and truly wants the best for everyone. She has big plans and big dreams. I feel so blessed to be her mom.

Today, I am humbly asking any family, friends and acquaintances that may be able to help her out, even if it's a small amount, we would greatly appreciate it.

Currently, our main goal is to have the $1,500 she needs by mid-November, and anything raised above that (if any) will be used towards next semester to minimize any loan she could potentially have to take out.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this, and even if you aren't able to donate, if you could share so maybe it reaches a few more people, that would be helpful too.

Love, Deanna Coleman
(Proud mom of Chelsea)
