Help Chase Recover, Get Properly Diagnosed, and Get Safely Back to Work!
Chase, a hardworking father raising six children, has been sidelined by multiple work-related injuries over the past year, including a torn distal bicep tendon, cervical radiculopathy, and a strained trapezius muscle. This has left him continuously in pain and unable to work at almost any capacity in his family-owned and operated cleaning business. After months and months of appointments, three courses of physical therapy, multiple X-rays, a minimum of 5 MRIs, and a second opinion, both Cox Hospital and Mercy Hospital have left him without an effective treatment plan or even a definitive diagnosis. Each doctor has clearly stated they believe there is an underlying musculoskeletal issue at hand that needs to be addressed, and Chase's pain and inflammation seem to be worsening rather than improving. Chase is currently experiencing swelling and inflammation in all 4 extremities, has had noticeably swollen lymph nodes throughout his body for the past 30 days, and has both arthritis and a bone spur that need to be addressed in his right shoulder.
The next steps will require assistance in lost wages and income from missing work the past 8 weeks (Chase has not been able to work since August 1st, 2025, and has been suggested by his Physical Therapy team to not return to quickly). If you have the means to help, and only if you truly have funds to donate in these trying times, your support will go directly towards necessary medical expenses, bill payments, and lost wages at Chase's discretion. We truly appreciate your time in reading this, and we hope to have an official update from the orthopedic doctor at Cox within the next week as Chase has another appointment with Dr. Finkbone at Cox Orthopedics on September 24th, 2025.
