Help Charlie Heal — And Support Us Through Recovery
On July 27, 2025, my sweet baby Charlie suffered a devastating leg injury. Just two days later, he underwent surgery to repair the damage. The emergency vet visit cost $1,100, and the surgery was $4,000. Without hesitation, I put the expenses on my credit card—because Charlie isn’t just a pet. He’s my baby, my constant companion, and a cherished member of our family.
Charlie goes everywhere with me. He’s loved just like my human children—if not more. We’re hopeful his leg will heal without further surgery, but that’s still uncertain.
As if this weren’t enough, I’m also facing my own health challenges. I’ll likely undergo neck surgery in the coming months, which will require me to be off work for at least six weeks. Between Charlie’s unexpected medical bills and my own upcoming recovery, the financial strain is overwhelming.
It’s hard for me to ask for help. I’m someone who usually handles things quietly and privately. But this time, I need to reach out. If you’re able to donate—even just $1 or $5—it would mean the world to us. Every dollar adds up, and your support will help ease the burden during this difficult time.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of our journey.
