I’m reaching out with a humble heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for your support during a difficult time. My name is Charles Michael Santana age 66 who is currently a ESKD (End Stage Kidney Disease) patient on dialysis and I’m currently facing a medical emergency financial hardship. I recently contracted a bacterial infection that caused a slight heart murmur and infection in my spine. The infection in my spine required an operation to remove the infection that caused bone deterioration and insertion of screws to support of my T7 and T9 vertebrae. This challenge has placed an overwhelming emotional and financial strain on me and those closest to me.

Despite my best efforts, the costs associated with the medical bills have become more than I can manage alone. That’s why I’ve created a GoFundMe campaign—to ask for help from those willing and able to lend a hand.
