Fighting Through Depression Help Me Rebuild My Life

Hi everyone,

This is hard for me to do, but I’m humbly asking for your support. For a while now, I’ve been battling severe depression while also facing one of the toughest financial times of my life. Despite everything, I still get up every day, face the world, and do my best to keep going but the truth is, I’m struggling.

The start of my depression came after two devastating losses my brother and my uncle passed away back-to-back, and it broke something in me. Shortly after, I lost my long-term job of seven years, which caused a major financial setback. Emotionally, mentally, and financially, everything began to spiral. I’ve been trying to find my footing ever since, but it’s been incredibly hard.

I’m naturally a loner, and I don’t have many friends. The loss of my brother also caused distance between me and my family not because I don’t love them, but because grief affected all of us differently. Unfortunately, I don’t have much support around me right now, and it’s left me in a very vulnerable place.

But I’m not lazy. I’m not giving up. I’m trying really hard. Despite my own pain, I still do my best to give back to my community, volunteer my time, and be there for the people around me. But the truth is, I need help right now. Without any income and with mounting financial setbacks, it’s becoming harder to stay afloat.

I created this GoFundMe as a way to humbly ask for a little help from those who may feel it in their hearts to give. Even a small donation $5, $10 would mean the world to me. And if you’re unable to donate, a simple share of my story would make a huge difference.

I know there are so many people in need right now, and I hesitated to ask for help, but the reality is I’m just trying to get back on my feet. I’m not asking for a handout, just a little help so I can breathe again.
