Dear friends and family,
As many of you know, Chad experienced a stroke this past July that has profoundly changed his life. Despite his incredible resilience and determination in recovery, the path ahead remains challenging—and he needs our support.
Chad is currently facing urgent housing needs. The stroke has left him unable to work, and his current home isn’t suited to support his healing. Together with his mom, Chad has decided to move to an apartment in West Lafayette. This new place will provide a safe, accessible environment, free of obstacles that could risk his well-being. Being close to family and friends there will also be essential for transportation to therapy and medical appointments. Chad is currently at Creasy Springs and hopes to get released and moved into his apartment in mid November.
The financial pressure is significant—without work and not qualifying for disability, Chad faces a heavy burden at a time when his focus must be on healing. Our goal is to ensure he has a secure place to live and the peace of mind that comes with it.
Chad has always been the one to lift others up—whether through his humor, his helping hand, or quiet kindness. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
Your donation will go directly to rent, utilities, and everyday expenses during his recovery. Every contribution matters, and sharing this message helps us reach even more hearts.
Let’s come together to remind Chad he’s not alone in this journey. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love.
