Hello my fellow friends! My name is Cesar Pita Jr. I was diagnosed at age 12 from a severe headache. Since then I have been through 25 different surgeries to remove the growing tumors. I am now completely deaf, have difficulty speaking (dysarthria), have bilateral acoustic neuromas, impairment of balance(wheelchair-bound), tumors in my spine, generalized muscle weakness, muscle atrophy(left hand especially), fatigue, abnormal vision, stiff neck (Shunt as well), and hand cramps. Despite these difficulties, I will keep my head up and continue fighting this nasty illness. I have NF2 but NF2 does not have me. Lastly, rest in peace to my warrior sister Cinthia Pita. Hola, mis amigos! Mi nombre es Cesar Pita Jr. Me diagnosticaron a los 12 años debido a un fuerte dolor de cabeza. Desde entonces, he pasado por 25 cirugías diferentes para extirpar los tumores que crecían. Ahora estoy completamente sordo, tengo dificultad para hablar (disartria), tengo neuromas acústicos bilaterales, deterioro del equilibrio (estoy confinado a una silla de ruedas), tumores en la columna, debilidad muscular generalizada, atrofia muscular (especialmente en la mano izquierda), fatiga, visión anormal, rigidez en el cuello (también con derivación) y calambres en las manos.
