My name is Celline Mitchell, I am a single mother with soon to be 17-year-old twins, a boy and a girl. The job market has been rough and especially tight as I navigate into a new industry, Clinical Research. I have a part-time job as a Clinical Research Assistant, however, recent changes have cut the site staff hours drastically until further notice. I have not worked enough to build a savings or file unemployment, and my twins have looked for work also, but to no avail. I would prefer they do not work at all as they are seniors in high school so the main focus needs to be on graduating and not paying my bills. I am still actively searching for work despite the tons of rejections. At this point, I am willing to work for a lower wage just to pay my bills but, even those are not working in my favor. I do not have a car to Door Dash, Uber, Lyft, etc. and I am desperate at this point as my rent is already a month behind.

I am raising $6,000 to pay for past due rent and late fee for July as well as rent for the month of August and September along with money for monthly electrical, internet, and phone bill. I am also raising funds to pay for transportation when I cannot take the bus and have to pay for rideshares as well as school supplies, clothes, and shoes for my twins. They do not have any school supplies, not even book bags nor do they have decent shoes. The funds will also provide daily hygiene items, laundry, and new shoes for me for interviews. I know it is hard for many of us, I believe we are all called to help each other so no matter how small the amount, I and my family are grateful.
