My name is Makenzie Johnson,

My sister Zoey Brahlay Johnson passed away January 7th by taking her own life leaving behind a hole in everyone’s heart. I found her body and the image is forever in my mind but it is not the only image I have as she was such an extraordinary person. We have been best friends since I was 1 year old and inseparable since. I called her Bubba because I could not say baby but the overwhelming joy I had to be a big sister was engulfing. She was my ride or die, partner in crime and my whole heart. If you knew Zoey then you know she had such a big heart and would do anything for the people she loved. I am broken and lost without her and I will never be the same.

She does have a baby girl named Zamya Johnson Puckett who is 3 years old that she left behind in my & my mother's care. Zamya is the very best parts of Zoey. Zamya is beautiful, intelligent and the sweetest baby ever. Zamya does not have her father, Darren Puckett because he was murdered before she was born and now she is without her mother.

I wanted to create this fundraiser to cover Zoey’s cremation, Zoey’s celebration of life and to start a savings for Zamya and her future. I am grateful for any help we receive in these difficult times and I thank everyone who has reached out to wish their condolences. Zoey will forever be with us in spirit and she will continue to live on through Zamya.
