Hello,

This is Sarah, (and on behalf of all the Reynolds children) daughter of Yolanda and Tom Reynolds. On August 18, our father, Tom Reynolds, passed away from facility care negligence, and my mother lost her husband of 50 years. My parents did not have much money, and the little life insurance policy my dad had went to cover just the funeral and nothing in living expenses. So, my mom cashed in her own policy to cover living expenses until she was able to go back to work. A few months ago, our mother was involved in another car accident that prevented her from working for a few months as well, and she was still recovering from hand surgery from that accident when this second accident occurred.

On June 3rd, our mom was coming home from work going southbound on 71 Hwy when she was struck by a semi-truck heading northbound on 71 in Belton. The semi crossed over the center and into oncoming traffic and hit her almost head-on. Our mother suffered catastrophic injuries, and after 2 weeks of fighting so hard, she suffered a massive heart attack during a tracheostomy cleaning, and she could not recover. On Monday, June 16th, our mom, Yolanda Reynolds, passed away. There are no words to describe the massive loss, shock, and grief that our family will be feeling for a long time. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of our mom's funeral since she had no life insurance. We greatly appreciate any amount of donation and would just love to honor our mom in the most loving way possible. Our mom leaves behind 6 children, 6 grandchildren, and lots of pets that loved her dearly, and she loved even more.
