Help Support Casey and His Family Along His Road to Recovery

Hi everyone, this is Laura, Casey's wife. This morning, Casey's truck and trailer jackknifed in the middle of the road right as he was getting home. He got the truck raised on a jack to hurry and try to fix it so he could pull into our driveway. He was under the truck when the jack gave way, causing our 2-ton truck to land straight on his chest and then roll over him. I didn't know he was home, but our neighbor happened upon him soon after this happened and called 911. He was barely conscious as the ambulance took him to the hospital. They had to intubate him because the pain was so high. The images came back with 9 broken ribs on his right side and 4 broken on the left side. Miraculously, he had no internal bleeding or injuries, but a rib did puncture his lung. The surgeon said he will recover eventually, but it will be a long road ahead. He owns his own landscape business and he'll be unable to work for months ahead.
