Help secure our income for our grandchildren

For the last seven years myself, age 55 and my husband age 72 have been raising three of our grandsons. We have full custody of them and they are ages eight, nine, and 11.

I have been working at Amazon and I’m very grateful for the job but it is getting very hard for me to keep it because my arthritis is acting up and I tore a tendon off of my bone on my arm at work. I’m trying to work through the pain, but they say it is permanent damage. My husband is unable to find outside employment due to his age, failing eyesight and failing hearing so I am our main provider. 

My hours are going to be cut soon and I depend on all of my hours plus overtime to support our grandsons. If I could convert 27 acres of our property into a private lake retreat, I would be able to reduce my hours and still support our family. Time is running out because of my injuries. It’s getting very hard to work so I’m asking for help to help me finish this project.

9. Mattresses for rental (3) of them

10. Carpeting in both rental bedrooms

11. Furniture for living room in rental

13. Bedding for rental (sheets/blankets/comforters/pillows)

14. Build boat pier

15. Stock (annually do this) pond with fish

16. Money to pay my husbands helper (retired handyman)

17. Dishes for rental

18. Purchase & install all required safety signs throughout property

19. Purchase chickens & convert (1) Peacock pen / add roaming

21. Purchase about 150 ft of privacy fence to allow guests privacy

from our residence

I am hoping to have it ready to rent by June 1st of this year. I am very grateful for any donations that I could get towards this venture. I have posted a couple of pictures of what I am starting with, and my plans are to go with somewhat of a bohemian-style happy/romantic environment and host small gatherings that include family get-togethers, graduations, weddings, etc.
