Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear coworker and friend, Carrie, a dedicated and compassionate veterinary assistant who always puts animals—and people—first. Now, Carrie needs our help.
Carrie has been struggling with a serious jaw infection that has caused intense daily pain and is starting to affect her ability to eat, sleep, and work. After months of managing through discomfort, doctors have confirmed that she needs urgent jaw surgery to remove infected bone and prevent further complications.
Despite the pain, Carrie continues to show up to care for animals with the same love and patience she always has. But this surgery is not fully covered by insurance, and she’ll also need time off work to recover—something that adds additional financial stress to an already tough situation. Carrie is also currently in school to become a licensed veterinary technician at Penn Foster. Carrie was hand selected for this program through Cleveland Park Animal Hospital because of her hard work, dedication, and compassion.
We’re hoping to raise $3,000 to help cover the cost of the surgery and support Carrie through the recovery period. Every dollar will go directly toward her medical expenses and lost wages during this critical time.
Carrie has given so much of herself to others—animals, clients, and coworkers alike. Now it’s our turn to give back and help her heal.
Thank you so much for your support—whether that’s donating, sharing this campaign, or just sending love her way.
With gratitude,
Carrie’s work family at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital
