Hi, I'm Ron aka CatDad from the Instagram account Trois Tuxies , and I'm trying to raise money to offset Tuxie Carlyle's emergency medical bills.

For those of you who have followed Carlyle since he was a bottle baby being raised by Kitten Faces in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he won't need an introduction. He's the little, loud tuxedo cat with heterochromatic eyes (one blue, one green) that you know and love. For those of you who don't know him through Barb's great work or his own Instagram account shared with his fellow Tuxie Jasper, let me tell you a little about him.

Carlyle is a sweet, handsome 8-year-old kitty boy who is cuddly, loving, and always interested in anything food related. When he was a kitten, he'd climb up your pants leg to try and get it taste of your sandwich. He loves bags and boxes, and will jump into a paper grocery bag if you hold it open for him. He's the funniest little cat and is always talking. He's very loved by his HuMom, CatDad, tuxie brother Jasper, and his 6-year-old human sister.

Carlyle was rushed to the emergency vet on Sunday morning and was diagnosed with bladder stones and a urinary blockage. His body temperature was dropping. His kidneys had been shut down. He was at risk of heart failure. After several days of hospitalization, Carlyle's kidney function has improved, his heart is no longer in distress, and he has healed enough to come home, but accumulated substantial medical bills which these funds will go towards. He will also need further follow-up appointment in the coming months, and will have a diet of special food for the rest of his (hopefully long) life.
