Donate to Carly Jean's Medical Journey

Hello! My name is Amanda Stram, I am organizing this fundraiser for my Cousin Adam and wife Briana Hanson. Their beautiful daughter, Carly Jean was born in 2022 at 29 weeks. She has faced many medical challenges in her two years of life. Currently the most pressing medical challenge is her repeated kidney stones. So far, doctors at Mayo Clinic and Texas Childrens Hospital are unable to determine the cause of these stones. She has had 4 surgeries so far, one which resulted in sepsis. Each time a stone leaves her kidney and lodges into her ureter it requires 2 surgeries, she currently has stones in her kidney that could travel at any time thus requiring more surgery.

We are still waiting on some results from TCH (Texas Children's Hospital) to come in which will determine if more testing is needed.

She will be admitted to Mayo tomorrow to do her 24 hour urine test. That will be rough as she will need to keep a catheter in for that.
