After a difficult battle with pneumonia and a staph infection, he has thankfully recovered—but the toll on his body has been significant. Just as we began to see signs of physical recovery, we received another life-altering diagnosis: diabetes.

This new diagnosis means he must now begin daily insulin therapy and make major lifestyle adjustments.
