Carlo needs a kidney
Russel Carlo Pascual is a friend to all, a gracious and unparalleled chef and leader. Carlo came to the U.S. in 2017 as a J-1 student in the work and travel program. He worked diligently to obtain his Permanent Resident Card and is preparing to become a United States Citizen as soon as he is able.
He worked in Ogunquit, Maine at Anchorage by the Sea and at Bread and Roses Bakery, where he continues to work as the kitchen manager.
Recently, Carlo became very sick with stage 5 kidney disease. He is just 30 years old. He needs dialysis three times per week and is on the National Kidney Registry.
Carlo is the heartbeat of Bread and Roses. His kindness, skill, and leadership put everyone at ease. He is a talented chef and a wonderful singer. He makes friends everywhere he goes, and Carlo would gladly help anyone who needed it.
He cannot work very much as his treatments are exhausting. We are trying to raise money to help support him as medical expenses are rapidly becoming overwhelming.
His mom, Cora, is here with him for a few months from the Philippines, where the rest of his family remains.
If you can help with a donation to help Carlo endure this difficult illness, it would be most appreciated. Donations of any amount will go a long way. And if you want to donate a kidney, his blood type is O+!
Thank you so much for supporting such a wonderful person. Please share.
