As a lot of you know I just turned 53 on Oct. 2nd and that very weekend I unfortunately losr my vision due to retna detachment in both eyes. I had emergency surgery on Tuesday the 6th at OHSU on my left eye as the right will be something to address later as there is Zero vision in it. Today is Oct 16th, 10 days post surgery, I have regained about 10-15% of my vision. Its going to be a long and trying battle but I've never been a quiter so why start now!?? So the need for reaching out to family, friends, and yes even strangers... Bills are already piling up, The doctors have alredy said it will take 6-12 months with and outlook of 25-80% of sight regaining in my left eye. This life altering event will Not define me. If anything, please pray for me (yes the non-religious guy asking for prayers) I can proudly say I do believe in a higher power that tests me every day!! May this only be another speed bump in life,....

I'll always remember these words..

"It will pass!"
