Cameron Wooten was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia 17 years ago and had a successful stem cell transplant in 2008. In July of 2025 his leukemia returned but his journey this time around has been much more complex. Cameron has struggled with lung infections, fevers, rashes and other complications which have kept him hospitalized for over 3 months. After two rounds of aggressive chemo his doctors in Greenville, SC have concluded there is nothing more they can do for him. We are transferring him to MD Anderson in Houston, TX to continue his treatments and find a permanent cure. Cameron has been married to his wife, Lyn, for over 24 years and they have two daughters, Myla - 17 and Arabella - 13. He has served in Christian Ministry for over 30 years and is a faithful follower of Jesus Christ.
The expenses to travel to Houston, TX from Greenville, SC over the next few months will be financially burdonsome to his family. We are starting this fundraiser in an effort to help alleviate the ballooning costs associated with saving his life. We appreciate anyone who feels compelled to give towards his recovery and eventual return to his family and ministry in South Carolina.
