My name is Cameron Bailey, I was diagnosed in 2022 with muscular dystrophy. A muscle deterioration disease with no cure. I recently had to stop working in October of 2024 due to my health and safety. The process of receiving benefits has been very difficult and taking a long time. Due to my disability I have numerous doctors appointments such as primary care, neurology, therapy, and procedures, which also all cost money. My step mother passed away November 16th, 2024, who was the caregiver for my father, Loyal Bailey. Who suffers from progressed muscular dystrophy and stage 4 prostate cancer. He abruptly had to move in with me September 16th where my fiance and I were taking care of him. During his move in, my disability benefits were taken away due to documentation errors and miscommunication, which then set me back financially on my bills. I own my home and am responsible for all finances while my finance finishes college. We have 2 beautiful children. I recently had to admit my father into the hospital due to health complications caused by his cancer. I have never reached out for assistance or help but I am severely stressed and desperate to make ends meet. I am in fear of getting too behind and losing my families home, my families vehicle and insurance, and everyday necessities. As much as I hate to have to do this but this would be so greatly appreciated from not only me but my family as well. I just want to say thank you in advance to anyone who helps.
