My dad, Calvin Tarver, was recently diagnosed with Stage 3, Squamous Cell Carcinoma Esophageal Cancer. He will be doing 28 rounds (5 1/2 weeks) of Radiation and 7 rounds of chemotherapy at MD Anderson, starting August 11 - September 22! He & Mom will be staying in Houston for 5 1/2 weeks for his radiation treatments. We are having to rent an apartment for temp housing for them to stay in and while this is at a discounted rate, it’s still going to cost $3000.00! We are on waiting list for other places that are little to no cost, but as you can imagine, the waiting list on those places is a bit long. They will also be responsible for their own meals in this apartment, so please know any and all help is greatly appreciated!
