Donate to build water well
Donation protected
My name is Erina and I have been helping poor in Afghanistan for many years. With the help of Allah we are trying to build a water well for a poor provence in Afghanistan. This area has many orphans, who due to not having water near by, don’t go to school or have no chance to have a normal childhood as they walk for many hours just to fill up a small bottle (bushka) of water and return home late.
These children are looked after by other family members such as their uncles, aunties, grandparents or who they have left. Others are unfortunately sent to the local orphanage.
This heartbreaking isn’t a story but their lives.
The lack of fresh water is unbearable as we have such quick easy access to water.
Please help myself reach the total amount to build 2 water wells in this Holy month of Ramadan. May Allah(swt) accept your donations and grant you eternal peace in this life and the next.
Once the amount has been reached I shall be posting and updating the progress of the wells. Rest assured your Sadiqah shall be rewarded in this world and the next.
Sadaqah in the Quran
“Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openly—their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.” (Qur’an 2: 274)
Sadaqah is a voluntary form of charity that we, as Muslims, give unconditionally to help those who need it most and relinquish our sins. Sadaqah charity is given for the love of Allah (SWT) and out of the goodness of our hearts. “By no means shall you attain righteousness unless you give freely of that which you love, and whatever you give, Allah knows it well.” [Qur’an 3:92] This verse highlights a very essential principle for Muslims. We cannot attain true and genuine righteousness until we prefer others over ourselves. And the most powerful method of preferring others is by parting from our wealth for the sake of others.
Prophet Muhammed (saw) was known to be ‘more generous than the blowing wind’. [Bukhari]. He (saw) would give all that he had to the poor and even let himself go hungry to feed someone in need. Sadaqah has an unusual power that affects the quality of life directly. Whenever we are in difficult situations in life, it is recommended by the Holy Prophet (SAW) to give Sadaqah. It is proven that Sadaqah removes difficulties. Any calamity bothering us can be wiped off by giving charity. The Quran and Sunnah repeatedly emphasise the importance of giving sadaqah regularly and Allah has promised many benefits to the person who does.
