⚾ Help Us Build a Youth Sports Facility for Our Kids

Our Mission

We are Project 8 Youth Sports League, a community-based nonprofit that has been serving kids and families for years. With six baseball teams for children ages 5–13, along with sports clinics, movie nights, holiday toy giveaways, and partnerships with the NYPD Community Affairs Unit, our goal has always been the same: to keep kids active, safe, and inspired through sports and community engagement.

The Need

Right now, our teams face a major challenge—we don’t have an indoor facility to train and practice. That means when the weather is bad, our kids lose valuable time to develop their skills, build teamwork, and stay active.

Another challenge we face is the cost of equipment. Too many kids want to play baseball but can’t afford the gloves, bats, cleats, and uniforms needed to join a team. We believe no child should be left out of the game because of financial barriers.

A dedicated facility combined with access to proper equipment would give our kids a chance year-round to:

• Train, practice, and grow their athletic skills

• Stay off the streets and engaged in positive activities

• Build confidence, discipline, and teamwork

• Create lifelong memories and friendships

• Play baseball with the right gear—regardless of family income

Our Goal

We are raising funds to provide kids with the equipment they need and to open an indoor training and practice facility where children from our league and community can come together, regardless of background or income. This facility will include batting cages, open practice areas, and flexible space for multiple sports and activities.
