Hi, my name is Shawn, and I’m currently unhoused, doing my best to get by while staying strong in my faith and holding onto hope. I’m raising funds to buy and convert a van into a safe, mobile home for me and my beloved cat, Tator Tot. With your support, we can turn a dream into reality—one filled with hope, purpose, and the open road.

My Story:

Right now, I sleep outside. It’s a daily challenge, facing weather, uncertainty, and the deep loneliness that comes with having no place to call home. But through all the hardship, I haven’t lost my faith in God. That faith gives me the strength to keep going—one day at a time.

I’m not alone in this journey. My cat, Tator Tot, is my constant companion. She’s more than just a pet—she’s my family, my comfort, and my reason to smile, even on the hardest days. She reminds me that love and loyalty exist in the smallest, furriest packages.

My dream is to own a van that I can convert into a cozy, studio-style apartment on wheels. With that van, I won’t just have a place to sleep—I’ll have freedom, safety, and the ability to rebuild my life. I want to travel across the United States, sharing my story and spreading light wherever I go. I believe that joy, compassion, and hope are meant to be shared—and I hope my journey can inspire others who may be struggling to keep going.
