My name is Lexus Church and as a student in the Master's Counseling Program, it is so important to me to be advocating for my community. With the current status of the government, and no end in sight, affecting SNAP assistance and causing concern, I have decided to start a food drive and fundraiser for Omaha Public Schools through my school program. Students will be donating non-perishable foods over the next two weeks.

A group of students and I will also be making warm meals for these families, and the fundraiser money will go directly to groceries to prepare these foods. Anything helps. Thank you all for reading and helping out these amazing families!

In addition, since we are nearing the Christmas holiday, I will also be using any extra donations to complete some angel trees! Thank you so much for all your support ❤️
