This page was created to help Bryan Kirkpatrick get back on his feet. On April 15th, Bryan—a 57-year-old husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and all-around good guy from Pocahontas, Arkansas—set out on his scooter to visit family and was struck by a tragic accident. He suffered a major brain bleed, a fractured orbital socket and collarbone, extensive bruising, and road rash. For two weeks, he remained in a medically induced coma, underwent a tracheotomy, and has been on a ventilator since. Most recently, his kidneys have failed, and he’s begun dialysis—but through it all, Bryan’s spirit shines: he’s awake, alert, and even declining pain medication.
Bryan is the guy who always has a joke, never misses a chance to go fishing, and drops everything to help a friend. Now, he needs us. The Kirkpatrick family is by his side in two-day rotations, but the costs are mounting: life-flight transport, brain and leg surgeries, as well leg surgery, hospital and rehab stay, 8 broken ribs, fractured knee and shin, home modifications (including a wheelchair ramp), travel expenses, therapies (physical, speech), and lost wages.
Your donation will go directly toward Bryan’s medical bills, rehabilitation, daily needs, and family support. Bryan's family has faith that God will carry Bryan through this journey, and we ask for your prayers, encouragement, and any help you can offer. To know Bryan is to love him—thank you for standing with Bryan and his family, and may God bless you.
