Bruce Salisbury is a son, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend. Bruce is a son of God. A spiritual man and ordained Minister. Bruce is unmarried with no children and lives alone. His birthday is December 4th.

Bruce, a recently retired mechanic is a fun loving adventurous jokester. Always has a smile on his face and welcomes anyone to join in on a good time.

He was supposed to get a puppy this week and enjoy his free time. Unfortunately, he had a near fatal car crash the day after Thanksgiving. His truck was demolished by flipping over on the Parkway. He broke his neck and couldn't feel his legs or hands. After many gracious prayers from many loving people, the wonderful surgeons at Jersey Shore Hospital in Neptune were blessed and guided by God. After a successful surgery to reconnect his spine, Bruce was put on a ventilator to help him breathe.

God's miracle is at work and continues to work. He is able to move his left leg and working on the right. He can lift his arms but not move his hands. He was just taken off the ventilator today and is breathing on his own. While trying to talk is a struggle, he is getting some messages out and knows his family is there for him.

I am starting this GoFundme to help cover his medical expenses not covered including future long term physical therapy, recovery and healing efforts and daily care all of which is unknown at this time as to the extent needed.

The surgeon compared his Injury to Christopher Reeves. It is no less than a miracle that God provided a miracle and that Bruce can now breathe on his own and move. Time and prayers will tell how far the recovery will go. Please pray for his self sufficiency that he can recover 100% by the grace of The Lord and be able to resume his life and enjoy his retirement and his family.
