I’m putting this out there to help with hospital charges for Brooke Dively.

This is her 7th heart surgery. She is 21 years old and the surgery she had on Sept 25 was by far her biggest surgery. 14 hours once they opened her chest. She has 2 metal valves installed on her heart and a third one was repaired. She had multiple pacemaker leads removed that were left in her body from prior pacemakers that failed and were replaced. She now also has a new pacemaker. She has been through so much and she just keeps going.

Right now she has $18,000 in unpaid medical bills and that’s growing.

I and her mother have her on each of our Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance. I’m primary and her mom's secondary.

I work as much overtime as I can to help pay for her rent, utilities, phone, car insurance, and everything else I can as she’s my baby.

She told me today that she has to pay $500 by Friday on her balance or they start charging her interest… I’m still trying to see what all that is going on there.

I’ve had friends tell me to start this to help her out.

I know she’s worried. I told her I got this and will help her out and she says, "Dad, I’ve already been paying as much as I can," and she went from $10,000 in her savings to $1,200 now.

I know it’s hurting her inside…. She has the biggest heart it’s just broken and needs help…. She’s hoping and praying that nothing else happens…..

She had her first heart surgery the day before she turned one..

She’s had multiple pacemakers daily….

I’m trying to do everything I can to get her through this but sometimes you need to ask for help….
