Hello, I’m Brittany. I am 32 and a single mother of two amazing kids. I am currently battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. It is in my liver, skull, bone marrow, and multiple lymph nodes throughout my whole body. I am in active treatment trying to fight this awful disease. I am considered terminal. I can fight it, but I can’t beat it. The doctors say I can have anywhere from 6 1/2 months to 6 years left to live. I’m hoping for much longer!! I was working prior to my diagnosis, but with all of my appointments and mental strain, I had to take a leave from my job. The leave was approved, but it was unpaid, and as a mom with so many financial responsibilities, I couldn’t afford to stay off without pay, so I had to make the choice to leave my job so that I could apply for SSI/SSDI. I was recently approved for disability, but it won’t take effect until December.

My goal is to raise enough to pay off the last bit of my car loan, pay some bills, and to be able to plan my funeral while I’m still around to do so. Currently, I owe $900 on my car loan. I am asking that if you can’t donate, then please share. I am happy to answer any questions anyone may have. I don’t like asking for help, but unfortunately, I am in a position where some help is needed.
