Brit and Bocce—not just beloved companions, but two incredible working dogs who have played an integral role in helping reactive dogs at Canine PhD Dog Training. Their presence, patience, and work with other dogs have made a lasting impact on so many lives.
Now, both Brit and Bocce are facing severe, unexpected medical challenges and need our help:
- Brit has been diagnosed with Border Collie Collapse (BCC), a neurological disorder that causes exercise-induced collapse and requires strict, ongoing management of his exertion and temperature.
- Bocce is battling Meningoencephalitis of Unknown Origin (MUO). He is currently undergoing intensive care, receiving chemotherapy treatments along with other immunosuppressants.
Between specialized veterinary care, pathology work, neurology/cardiology consults, and intensive ongoing treatments, their medical expenses are accumulating quickly.
We have launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover these mounting medical costs and support their recovery. Every donation, share, and word of support helps us get Brit and Bocce the lifesaving care they need so they can get back to doing what they love.
Please consider supporting their campaign.
