Donate to Bripa's Fight Against Cancer

Hello! My name is Sarah Morgan Ireland and I am fundraising for my grandfather, Brian Ireland, or as I like to call him, Bripa. Brian is a lifelong carpenter and artist who aims to reach people with his art to make them feel good, empowered, and inspired. He creates art that "makes you feel better than when you first sat down". The most meaningful card I ever received was one of his prints, a woman walking through a rushing waterfall.

When I asked my grandfather about the card he told me the story of the woman who purchased it from him years ago. She had told him that his art empowered her, and made her feel strong and sure. For Brian, painting is his identity, and making others feel good is his purpose.

Recently, he was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. This recent diagnosis has brought with it a large financial need to aid with treatment, transportation, and living costs. After extensive research, Brian discovered a state-of-the-art treatment center in Flordia that caters to prostate cancer specifically and uses little to no radiation accommodating his body's sensitivity to radiation. Brian's goal is to walk away cancer-free while maintaining the ability to create art and experience life to its fullest. He wants to continue to create art and connect with others. My goal is to see my grandfather show cancer just how strong he is with the support of family, friends, and strangers. So I ask, that if you have the resources to do so, you donate to help Brian in his fight against cancer so that we may continue to relish in his art and see what he creates next!
