Briona's Healing Journey

As many of you know, and for those who don’t, our beloved friend Briona Galley experienced a life-altering stroke on July 24th/25th. She was rushed to the hospital immediately, where she was admitted due to the loss of eyesight and the inability to walk. After extensive testing, it was determined that Briona suffered from Vertebral Artery Dissection, a rare condition that caused a loss of blood flow to her brain and resulted in a stroke.

Briona, who is just 25 years old, is facing an extended period of recovery. While her eyesight is restored and she is mobile again, she has significant restrictions over the next six months, including not lifting over 20 pounds, not being able to drive, and avoiding activities that involve looking up or down for extended periods. Given these restrictions and the challenges she faces, Briona is unable to work and is struggling with medical bills and daily living expenses.

Bri, a cherished bartender and manager at Fin & Tonic in Suffolk, VA, has been an integral part of our family-owned establishment for the past three years. Her dedication, hard work, and unwavering loyalty have made a significant impact on our bar and everyone who walks through our doors.

We are reaching out to our community to rally around Bri and offer our support. Our goal is to raise funds to help alleviate some of the financial burdens she is facing, so she can focus on her recovery without the added stress of mounting bills.
