Hi, I’m Mariam and I’m trying to raise funds to transport my recently deceased sister to be buried in our home country of Kenya.

Vicky was an endlessly optimistic person who always wore a smile no matter what. She was loved dearly by everyone she knew, and she will be remembered as a daughter, a sister, a mother to two, but most importantly as a ray of joy and perseverance.

She moved to the states in promise of a better life but was hit with obstacle after obstacle. She spent all of her years in the US trying to organise for her son to move from Kenya so they could be together again, but just as she was getting close, she was the victim of a car accident from a truck collision.

The US has brought her nothing but pain and suffering, and we don’t want her final resting place to be there. It’s very expensive to transport a body internationally and we don’t have a lot of time, so any help from anyone is monumental.

My mother is travelling to the US so I will be sending all funds to her to organise the transportation. Thank you all
