Help Us Bring Music to Merrick Academy!

Hello, my name is Zenzile Keith, and I am the Chief Student and Family Support Officer at Merrick Academy, a K-6 charter school serving bright, curious, and creative young learners. As a native New Yorker who attended both public and private schools, the arts played a transformative role in my education and personal growth. Music, in particular, was a constant source of joy and inspiration, thanks to opportunities both in and out of school to explore instruments like the piano and guitar.

I want to share that gift with our students at Merrick Academy by introducing an after-school music program that fosters creativity, confidence, and community through the power of music. This March, we are launching a brand-new program designed to teach our students beginner keyboard and guitar skills in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

To make this dream a reality, we need your help to raise $2,000 to purchase beginner keyboards and guitars for the program. With your support, we can provide our students with the tools they need to explore music, express themselves, and unlock their full potential.
