Last week unfortunately Brian "Pa-pa" was hospitalized again for the 2nd time and due to this long road it had been hard in maintaining financial security. Brian has had a long road of health scares and hospitalizations. It all started back when Brian got Covid, it started a long road of coughing spells, shortness of breath and lack of oxygen along with the hives every time we turned around. Then in return it lead to many Dr appts where they did many different types of treatment from medications, inhalers to a lung thumper. Then out of no where he got an infection in his eye where surgery was a must and again he was hospitalized for about a week. He maintained general good health but not with out catching every cold as well as covid 2 more time. His immune system by this time has been hit hard and his Diabetes don't help. Then about 3 months ago Brian got really sick and was hospitalized with severe Pneumonia and again spent a week in the hospital recovering. He was release on antibiotics and again medications. He got better but began to notice his feet swelling and off to cardiology he went. They again found pneumonia in his lungs and treated it again. Last week Brian woke up in extreme pain and as the night went on it began to get worse and it was getting harder to breath. He was take to the hospital where they found the sack around his lungs was filled with infection. He was immediately placed in the hospital and a tube was placed in his lungs where they drained over 12 fl oz of infection of his lungs and then began to flush his lungs out with high potent antibiotics, hoping this would help. After spending 4 days at Parkview. The Doctor's decided it was not getting better and he was transported to Memorial hospital for a 2 hr surgy, to scrap the infection out of his lungs. He now is in Memorial with tubes draining the infection and cleaning his lungs. Doctors are estimating a stint in the hospital, all the while Brian is been out of work and is the sole bread winner to his home. This burden had hit hard financially and he is humbly asking for support in help maintaining his monthly bills until he fully recovers. He is in good spirts and is also excepting all the prayers he can get. Thank you all for donating in helping out.
