This sad looking guy is Ace. One of many animals that own us. I say that because all of them are rescues and I believe rescues pick us. They know what to do to make us pick them. Early July Ace started vomiting, refused any food including his favorite , cheese. He also started to become lethargic. So to the veterinarians we went. I won't go into details about difficulties finding one because of availability. Finally was referred to Pieper Veterinary in Middletown CT. Turned out to be a bowel obstruction from a squeaker from inside a toy. We were able to have the surgery done but for $10,000.00. We really would like to recoup some of that expense. This is why I started this GoFundMe account.
