This is really tough.

Asking for help is certainly never easy, and it feels a bit surreal to do so in this current state and climate. But unfortunately, our ongoing income situation has not yet improved and we are quickly running out of options.

In less than a year, we have faced Jessica's unexpected layoff, subsequent underemployment and now most recently, Brian's medical disability. The current situation is very fluid. There is still a lot of of uncertainty as to the duration and how it may eventually impact the future of Brian's employment status. He's facing additional surgery and subsequent healing time - all of which carries an unknown timeline.

We have been doing all we can to seek out any additional sources of income, exploring assistance programs and selling items we don't need. But now it's unfortunately dire and terrifying as we're facing various shut-offs and possibly even eviction. We have long since trimmed unnecessary 'extra' expenses from our household budget, and are quite literally just trying to survive.

This is truly so incredibly hard, but if you can help us out in any way, we would most greatly appreciate it. More than we could ever express. We hope that we can return the favor in kind some day.
