This summer, Brenda was diagnosed with lymphoma. She has faced this diagnosis with incredible courage and grace, enduring two lengthy hospital stays and now continuing her chemotherapy treatments from home.

Brenda is well known and deeply loved by so many. For years, she has poured her heart into teaching preschool, touching the lives of countless children and families with her patience, kindness, and joy. Outside the classroom, she loves spending time outdoors caring for her goats and chickens and helping run the family’s BBQ restaurant.

Throughout this difficult time, Brenda has been overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support shown by her family, coworkers, students and other school families. The encouragement, messages, and prayers have truly lifted her spirits and reminded her that she’s not facing this journey alone.

As Brenda continues her treatments, her family is hoping to help ease the financial strain that comes with ongoing medical care. The costs of hospital stays, treatments, and medications have quickly added up, and any support will go directly toward helping cover these medical expenses.
