One of our Black creators, Brandy, host of the Brandy was Here Podcast, has just lost her financial aid and scholarship for her son’s private school. Luckily, they have found a nurturing environment where he is excelling and feels safe. In her own words:

"School is back in session and I need financial assistance to keep my son in school. My son attends a private school where he is excelling and feels safe as a young Black boy. But unfortunately, we no longer qualify for the aid and scholarships that we once did and currently have a balance of $5127 that needs to be paid asap in order for him to remain a student. This is incredibly important as a young Black boy safety and stability mean everything. "
