My daddy, Bobby Leviner, has been in the hospital since May 11th, 2025. Since then, he has suffered from seizures and end-stage kidney failure, starting dialysis 3 days a week. He went into cardiac arrest 3 times in the month of July, which landed him in the ICU for a month on life support. From there, he had a trach put in so that he could stay on the ventilator longer since he was unable to tolerate breathing on his own. After being in the ICU for a month, he then went to Select Specialist Hospital to help wean him off the ventilator and take the trach out, which were both successful.
He has been at Select Specialist Hospital for 2 months, where he has had little progress with mobility. He found out last week that he had other issues going on with imaging of his brain and had to undergo a spinal tap. He will be transferred to Duke University tomorrow to see a specialist to see if we can get some answers. Daddy still has a LONG way to go with physical therapy.
He is the only provider for the household. His disability through work has run out, and we are waiting for his SSDI. Please consider donating, and if you can’t, please pray for my daddy and our family as this has been a long road with a long road ahead.
