Go Fund Me for Bobby G. Benefield, Jr.
Bobby could use our support. It didn't simply rain on Bobby, it poured. Bobby is doing his best making lemonade from the lemons he has been dealt. He is an alumni of Valdosta, Georgia High School. He then pursued a successful career serving as a deputy since 1990 in Lowndes County. Bobby is the father of two grown children and three beautiful grandchildren.
The trouble began in 2000 when he experienced cardiac arrest and received a pacemaker. Subsequently, there was an infection post operation in the pacemaker leads which led to aortic valve replacement. Later in 2017, the diagnosis of diabetes ensued. He experienced blood flow issues in his left leg. It turned black due to lack of blood flow. The same issue of blood flow occurred in the right leg, but thankfully, it was fixed and Bobby avoided amputation. In the later part of 2023, the left leg was turning black again, but this time it could not be corrected. Bobby had a left leg amputation. Due to this, he had to resign from the sheriff’s department.
Bobby is working on getting disability and other benefits in line. In the meantime, he could use any help in meeting his financial needs. It is a difficult time for many of us given the current economic situation. Imagine how much more for Bobby. Please give what you can. Bobby would be so very grateful.
